I think Noble looks better, and Enchanter's has better stats.

15k Enchanters looks like a nightgown. Just imagine Drok's Enchanters, but more skimpy.

I believe to my extent that the +15 while casting is still a global mod (unless it was patched in like the last...week or so...). Therefore, you only need one piece of it, most likely the gloves or boots.

I think the new armors should be taken into consideration. With the various stacking bonuses it's very likely that we will see a lot of mix and match. I don't see much use of the while enchanted armor (w.e. the name was) but I can see myself combinging the pieces of other sets to create a higher universal AL, while not sacrificing the nrg bonuses of the chant armor too much. I like the stance one. I use stances a lot. Whether it's going to be Mantra of Inscriptions, Mantra of Persistance, or Distortion, etc.

The added armor bonus can help esp. vs elemental attacks which can be annoying. That and tossing in a 5 defense mod (which I find more useful than the HP one btw). Probably I'll do chant on the hands and feet (where other armor bonuses are less important), chest I'll do the stance armor, and noble pants. That's like 70 armor while in stance (I believe 5 of the 10 stance bonus is universal), and 85 armor while in stance and casting.

Having 70-75 universal armor is a huge blessing on a softie.

I think the new armors are local....At least the one's I've inquired about have been, so I imagine it's the same across the board.

So we can't have...
+10 while enchanted (Illusion Weakness)
+10 while in a stance (Persistence)
+10 vs physical
+15 while casting
and have it all be global?

dang.

Wiki insists the armor bonuses are part global, part local. I think 5 armor is the global part, rest is local. But having in mind where the majority of hits go- chest and legs- you can put the most likely triggered armor there. I plan to put my stance one on the chest, legs not sure but its not gonna be enchanters (probaly noble), my gloves and boots tho- chanters. Oh and yea, noble armor doesn't stack, its bonuses are like Knight's Armor- universal and non-stacking.
